Soccer Game Preview: Big Spring vs. Trinity

The Big Spring Bulldogs will face off against the Trinity Shamrocks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Big Spring will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity will be coming in after a defeat.

Big Spring is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against James Buchanan on Monday as they made off with a 10-1 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Big Spring with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Camp Hill. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Trinity couldn't quite close it out.

The victory made it two in a row for Big Spring and bumps their season record up to 4-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two games. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Big Spring came out on top in a nail-biter against Trinity in their previous meeting back in August, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shamrocks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
