The Lake Hamilton Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pulaski Academy Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Lake Hamilton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 40-14 defeat at the hands of Russellville.
Although Lake Hamilton took the loss, they still got scores from Evan Payton and Parker Vandee.
Meanwhile, Pulaski Academy faced Greenwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pulaski Academy's tough 58-33 loss to Greenwood on Friday might stick with them for a while. It was the first time this season that Pulaski Academy let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Pulaski Academy had strong showings from Brandon Cobb, who threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns, and Andrew Fiser, who picked up 215 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Fiser was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 69 yards.
The losses dropped Lake Hamilton to 3-6 and Pulaski Academy to 7-2.
Lake Hamilton couldn't quite finish off Pulaski Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 and fell 41-39. Will Lake Hamilton have more luck at home instead of on the road?
