Max Langer put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk).

Langer's strong effort led Nichols over Bishop Timon-St. Jude and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
