Hobart won the last time they faced Lowell and things went their way on Friday too. The Brickies escaped with a win against the Red Devils by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34.

Lowell's loss came despite strong showings from Cass Hejnowski and Ezra Rumisek. Hejnowski posted ten points and five boards, while Rumisek earned 11 points and six rebounds. Hejnowski also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Hobart's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lowell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hobart and Westville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Brickies will be up against the Blackhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Lowell and East Chicago Central will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on the 29th.
