Baseball Recap: Clinton Central Takes a Loss

Clinton Central suffered their biggest loss since April 7th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lewis Cass Kings, falling 14-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Davison, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Clinton Central's record is now 6-6. As for Lewis Cass, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton Central will head out to square off against Delphi Community at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Oracles have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Lewis Cass, they will take on Southwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Kings are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
