Soccer Recap: Rapides Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Rapides hadn't done well against Holy Savior Menard recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Rapides Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Holy Savior Menard Eagles. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 4-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rapides' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6-1. As for Holy Savior Menard, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Rapides will take on Tioga at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tioga will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Rapides surely won't give up without a fight. Holy Savior Menard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
