Basketball Recap: Schenectady Comes Up Short

Schenectady was the 77-71 winner over Columbia when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Schenectady Patriots were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 69-68 to the Columbia Blue Devils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Sunday (60), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Schenectady and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Columbia, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Schenectady has already played their next game, a 78-71 win against Moriah on the 28th. As for Columbia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-52 victory against Ballston Spa on the 28th.
