Basketball Game Preview: Okemah Panthers vs. Little Axe Indians

The Okemah Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Little Axe Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Axe took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Okemah, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Okemah beat Henryetta 46-42. The 46-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Little Axe was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 61-45 fall against Seminole.

Little Axe now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Okemah, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
