It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wahoo can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minden Whippets on Saturday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 21-25, 25-12.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elena Estudillo, who had 33 digs and a kill. Estudillo has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Nuss, who had nine digs.

Minden got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aubree Bules out in front who had 20 digs. Another player making a difference was Makenna Anderson, who had four digs and three aces.

Wahoo's loss dropped their record down to 27-8. As for Minden, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 37-1.

As of now, neither Wahoo nor Minden have any future games scheduled.
