Barren County has gone 9-1 against Russellville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Trojans will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Barren County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Russellville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Barren County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Larue County just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1.

Barren County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Elmore, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Russellville nor Ohio County made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Panthers skirted past the Eagles 4-3. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Russellville's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Barren County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
