Basketball Recap: Pompano Beach Takes Down Stranahan in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Pompano Beach had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 42-28 victory over the Stranahan Mighty Dragons on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Tornadoes as it put an end to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Pompano Beach's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Stranahan, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Pompano Beach will square off against Suncoast on Thursday. Suncoast will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pompano Beach surely won't give up without a fight. Stranahan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
