There's no place like home for Cripple Creek-Victor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Nederland Panthers on Saturday. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Lilly Linneweh paced Cripple Creek-Victor's offense, picking up six kills. Linneweh got some help from Savannah Mead and her five assists. Finally, Katie Bennett kept Cripple Creek-Victor's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Cripple Creek-Victor's victory bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Nederland, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
