Recap: Lexington Christian Academy Lions vs. Boston Trinity Academy Lions
The Lexington Christian Academy Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with a 74-61 victory over Boston Trinity Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ceadan McCusker, who scored 20 points along with two steals. McCusker is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Kyle Cameron Martin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Lexington Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Boston Trinity Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington Christian Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Berwick Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
