Baseball Recap: St. Albans Comes Up Short

St. Albans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Christopher's Saints.

George Minjack was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

St. Albans' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for St. Christopher's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Albans will head out to challenge Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Maroon at the right time seeing as the Maroon are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Christopher's, they are taking a road trip to face off against Woodberry Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
