Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ladamien Davis and Tayvon Evans Lead Pueblo Central to Victory

Pueblo Central won the last time they faced Fountain-Fort Carson and things went their way on Friday too. The Pueblo Central Wildcats came out on top against the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans by a score of 68-61. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Pueblo Central was led to victory by Tayvon Evans and Ladamien Davis. Evans posted 23 points and seven rebounds, while Davis put up 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Evans' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Darrin Hemphill, who had nine points.

When it comes to explaining why Fountain-Fort Carson lost, don't look at Jordan Ulmer. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 14 on his way to 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Williams, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

Pueblo Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Pueblo Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-21 win against Sierra on the 14th. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-46 victory against Palisade on the 14th.
