Soccer Recap: Airport Takes a Loss

Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles. While losing is never fun, Airport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Gray Collegiate Academy are ranked 15th).

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 16-0.

Airport didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Brookland-Cayce on the 11th. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will square off against Nation Ford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Nation Ford will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Gray Collegiate Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
