Soccer Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Summit Academy on Thursday, Juan Diego Catholic came back down to earth. The Soaring Eagle came up short against the Uintah Utes on Monday, falling 7-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Juan Diego Catholic of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

They hit Uintah with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eryk Alvord, Keurik Bare, and Keanau LeiFoc.

Juan Diego Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Uintah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Juan Diego Catholic is taking a road trip to face off against Ben Lomond at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th. Ben Lomond will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Juan Diego Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Uintah, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Timpanogos on the 22nd.
