Volleyball Recap: Westwood Gets the Win

Westwood picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Riesel Indians by a score of 2-0.

Riesel lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addi Cope, who had nine digs and two aces. Avery Jackson was another key player, getting eight assists and four digs.

Westwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Riesel, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Westwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Teague on the 16th. As for Riesel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Alto on the 16th.
