Millbury had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Monument Mountain Spartans get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Woolies, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Millbury's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Monument Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Millbury beat the Spartans by a score of 9-0 on Thursday.
