Basketball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Extends Home Winning Streak to 16

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stuart W. Cramer). They claimed a resounding 92-56 win over the Forestview Jaguars. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Oshauna Holland continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 35 points and 18 rebounds. Her evening made it 26 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Lauren Humphrey was another key player, going 10 of 15 en route to 21 points and five boards.

Stuart W. Cramer was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the defeat, Forestview saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sa'Ryah McCorkle went 6 for 11 on her way to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. McCorkle is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Delainah Springs, who posted nine points.

Stuart W. Cramer's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Forestview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Stuart W. Cramer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 84-25 win against North Gaston on the 31st. Forestview has also already played their next match, an 80-39 loss against South Point on the 31st.
