Shadow Ridge fell victim to Corona del Sol and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Aztecs, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Stallions were not able to get on the board.

Shadow Ridge has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-2 record this season. The win was the fifth in a row for Corona del Sol, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Shadow Ridge has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Green Mountain on the 21st. As for Corona del Sol, they will welcome Brophy College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Brophy College Prep's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Corona del Sol's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
