Basketball Recap: Canaan Magness Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bigfork

Hamilton won the last time they faced Bigfork and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hamilton Broncs snuck past the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries with a 52-48 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamilton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Canaan Magness, who posted 16 points along with six boards and five assists. Magness' evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Tyler Jette was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.

Magness wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Hamilton was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Hamilton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bigfork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Hamilton will square off against Columbia Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season. As for Bigfork, they will face off against Stevensville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
