South Greene scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Johnson County Longhorns by a score of 9-8. The loss leaves the Rebels still looking for their first win of the season.

South Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Johnson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Greene will host Happy Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Happy Valley knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully South Greene likes a good challenge. As for Johnson County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Patrick Henry at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
