It was a good run, but Coronado unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Torrey Pines Falcons.

Ashlynn Proctor paced Coronado's offense, picking up 13 kills. Proctor got some help from Brooke Proctor and her 11 assists.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 27-5. As for Torrey Pines, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

Coronado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against La Canada on the 11th. As for Torrey Pines, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Foothill on the 11th.
