Softball Recap: Laker Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Laker and Caro had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lakers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Laker saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lakyn Krohn, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Laker's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Caro, they moved to 8-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Laker nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
