Soccer Recap: Homestead Starts Season with Victory Against Leo

Homestead had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Leo Lions an 11-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Audrey Johnson as she scored four goals for her team.

Leo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bellmont on the 20th. As for Leo, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Carroll on the 20th.
