They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vikings 69-66. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lumberjacks considering their 30-point performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Colebrook Academy ended up a good deal behind Newmarket on Friday and lost 50-34. The loss was the Mohawks' first of the season.

Lin-Wood's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Colebrook Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
