Basketball Game Preview: Power Center Academy Knights vs. Bolton Wildcats

The Power Center Academy Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Bolton Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Power Center Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Bolton will be coming in after a defeat.

Power Center Academy was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against City University School of Liberal Arts on Monday. The Knights blew past City University School of Liberal Arts 90-67. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted against City University School of Liberal Arts since January 28, 2016.

Meanwhile, Bolton came up short against Hillcrest on Tuesday and fell 81-71.

Bolton's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. Those home losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. As for Power Center Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Power Center Academy came up short against Bolton when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 92-87. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
