Softball Game Preview: Pottstown Trojans vs. Hill School Rams

The Pottstown Trojans will head out to square off against the Hill School Rams at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Pottstown and six for Hill School dating back to last season.

Pottstown's last matchup with Norristown could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Trojans lost 17-7 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Hill School came up short against Hun on Wednesday, falling 11-1.

Hill School saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Willow Gall, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Hill School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pottstown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Pottstown suffered a grim 13-4 defeat to Hill School when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
