Baseball Recap: Lewis Comes Up Short

Lewis lost against Annandale back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers came up short against the Atoms, falling 15-3. The Lancers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Lewis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was K.J Price, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Price has brought in this season.

Lewis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Annandale, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis will welcome Justice at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Annandale, they will host Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
