Volleyball Recap: Owensboro Comes Up Short

Owensboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grayson County Cougars. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Owensboro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Grayson County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Owensboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Ohio County on the 27th. As for Grayson County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Franklin-Simpson on the 27th.
