Volleyball Recap: Raymond Central's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Raymond Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Julia Schultz. The Mustangs came out on top against the Conestoga Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Schultz, who had 22 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Raymond Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

Raymond Central now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Conestoga, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

The future could be bright for both Raymond Central and Conestoga: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Mustangs will look to extend Aquinas' 12-game losing streak when they meet on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Conestoga will try to hand Arlington their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
