Football Game Preview: Scottsburg Warriors vs. Edgewood Mustangs

The Scottsburg Warriors will face off against the Edgewood Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Scottsburg 11.3, Edgewood 13) so any points scored will be well earned.

Defeat or not, Scottsburg got some senior leadership from Garrett Boling and Nathan Byrd. Boling picked up 107 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while Byrd threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns. Boling is also on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Edgewood played against Irvington Preparatory Academy on Friday and won via forfeit.

Scottsburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Edgewood, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.
