Soccer Game Preview: Fort Bend Willowridge vs. La Marque

The Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles will head out to square off against the La Marque Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. La Marque took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Bend Willowridge, who comes in off a win.

Fort Bend Willowridge will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Saturday, then bounced right back against Sweeny on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 4-2 win over the Bulldogs. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Fort Bend Willowridge's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Jeremey Villafranca and Julian Garcia scored all four of Fort Bend Willowridge's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
