Denver Christian dropped down to 4-5 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the Forge Christian Fury. The contest marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cole McCabe threw for 68 yards on six of 14 attempts. Austin Fitzgerald was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

As for Forge Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Quentin Torres continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 199 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 38 receiving yards and one TD. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass.
