Football Recap: Regent Prep's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Regent Prep dropped to 2-2 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They fell 22-14 to the Liberty Tigers. Regent Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Liberty apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Brody Smith threw for 222 yards and one TD. Bryceton Huerta was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards.

As for Liberty, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.3 points over those games.

The critical scores for Liberty came from Brayden Burr, Preston Wilhite, and Jaxon Brown.
