Basketball Game Preview: West Fork Warhawks vs. Madrid Tigers

The West Fork Warhawks will venture away from home to square off against the Madrid Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, West Fork earned an 83-74 victory over Newman Catholic.

Meanwhile, Madrid put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Van Meter 60-34. Fans of the Tigers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

West Fork now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Madrid, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

West Fork suffered a grim 79-59 defeat to Madrid when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can West Fork avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
