Moriarty came out on top against Taos on Wednesday thanks in part to Evan Pacheco's efforts. Pacheco was dialed in as he pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. It looks like he has Taos' number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Pacheco also tossed a walk, which is notable because Moriarty is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-9 otherwise.
