Midway had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Shoemaker on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Midway, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Midway's third in a row) raised their record to 9-5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Shoemaker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-3 record this season.
