Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vista Murrieta). Everything went their way against the San Jacinto Tigers on Thursday as the Vista Murrieta Broncos made off with a 4-0 victory. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Tigers are ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vista Murrieta hit San Jacinto with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roman Rodriguez, Markis Cavanaugh, Sergio Pineda, and David Meija.

The win got Vista Murrieta back to even at 2-2. As for San Jacinto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1.
