Volleyball Recap: El Capitan Vaqueros vs. West Hills Wolf Pack
El Capitan lost to West Hills back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vaqueros walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolf Pack. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vaqueros.
El Capitan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.
Jacob Marquez paced El Capitan's offense, picking up 14 kills. Marquez really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 15. Finally, he was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
