Volleyball Recap: El Capitan Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

El Capitan lost to West Hills back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vaqueros walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolf Pack. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vaqueros.

El Capitan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

Jacob Marquez paced El Capitan's offense, picking up 14 kills. Marquez really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 15. Finally, he was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

El Capitan pushed their record up to 20-13 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for West Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14.
