Volleyball Recap: Denver Christian's Run of Six Straight Victories Now Over + How To Watch

Denver Christian managed to slip by Forge Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Thunder lost 3-0 to the Fury on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Thunder have suffered since October 5, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Amina Weber paced Denver Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Weber got some help from Hadley Pellegrino and her 11 assists. Pellegrino was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Forge Christian can attribute much of their success to Charlotte Bisque, who had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Bisque has posted since back in November of 2024.

With the loss, Denver Christian broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3. As for Forge Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Denver Christian will challenge SkyView Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Forge Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Platte Valley on the 11th.
