There's no place like home for Chavez, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Monroe Vikings on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chavez was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-12.

Chavez's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Monroe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Chavez nor Monroe have any future games scheduled.
