Volleyball Recap: Landrum Takes a Loss

Landrum lost against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1.

Leading First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest to victory were Bryson McGrath and Claire Bostrom. McGrath had 12 digs, while Bostrom had 12 digs and two assists. Those 12 digs gave Bostrom a new career-high.

Landrum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, the win (which was their 28th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Landrum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Broome on the 25th. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Greer on the 21st.
