Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They came out on top against the Friendship Christian Commanders by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Commanders: they've now won three in a row.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Friendship Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Hillcrest will head out on the road to take on Gulf Shores at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Friendship Christian, they will face off against Pope John Paul II at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Friendship Christian has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
