It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but ALA - West Foothills had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Sabino Sabercats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Guardians as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: ALA - West Foothills took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-5, 25-8.

Wyatt Hofmann paced ALA - West Foothills' offense, picking up 12 kills. Hofmann got some help from Ethan Smead and his 18 assists. Titan Ashton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

ALA - West Foothills' victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-4. As for Sabino, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.

ALA - West Foothills has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Gilbert Classical Academy on the 13th. Sabino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
