North Raleigh Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Providence Day Chargers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

While North Raleigh Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21.

North Raleigh Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Carrington Lynn, who had nine digs and two assists. Katherine Lightbourne also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Despite the loss, Providence Day still got an impressive performance from Savannah Stephens, who had 12 digs. Stephens is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

North Raleigh Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Providence Day, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
