Mid-Moore Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They snuck past Victory Baptist Academy with a 52-48 victory. Given the Tornados' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 218th in Oklahoma, while the Patriots are ranked 1189th in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 62-44 fall against Stillwater S. One positive for Cristo Rey, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cristo Rey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mid-Moore Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
