Volleyball Recap: Weed Cougars vs. Mt. Shasta Bears
Weed was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mt. Shasta Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 3rd.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-19.
Weed's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Mt. Shasta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7-1 record this season.
