Volleyball Recap: Circle Victorious

Circle lost to Southeast of Saline back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0.

Circle not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Southeast of Saline to exactly 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16.

Gracie Tucker paced Circle's offense, picking up five kills. Tucker got some help from Cate Rogers and her 13 assists. Brianna Paul controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Circle now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Southeast of Saline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Circle will take on McPherson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast of Saline, they will venture away from home to square off against Republic County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
